Statistics Canada is committed to providing convenient access to relevant, reliable, comprehensive and timely statistical information on its website.

To achieve efficient management of web content and preserve online content for the future, some components of the website are archived:

• Archived content: documents retained on the website for reference or research purposes. The documents are clearly identified as "archived".
• Legacy content: documents that contain information that has been revised or superseded by a more recent release. The information is removed from the website and retained in a safe repository. Complete descriptions of the legacy documents remain on the website, and are easily searchable. Users who are interested in consulting such documents can receive them by e-mail without charge by submitting a request to infostats@statcan.gc.ca.
