Twenty-seven percent of Canadian workers claim to have high to extreme levels of stress on a daily basis.
Low income workers tend to have lower general stress while high income workers have higher general stress.
Over one in four workers report being highly stressed.
An additional 46% of Canadian workers reported to that they felt "a bit" of stress on a day-to-day basis.
Prolonged stress increases the risk of the following:
- Depression
- Heart disease
- Substance abuse
Sixty-two percent of workers say work is their main source of stress

- Finances, 12%
- Time, 12%
- Family, 8%
- Other, 6%
Elements that help to reduce stress:
- Time Management
- Rest
- Exercise
