Statistics Canada is responsible for the collection of a wide variety of data from Canadian businesses and households. The role of Statistics Survey Operations is to carry out the collection of survey data and hires interviewers from time to time on a part-time basis to conduct a variety of surveys, some of which are on going (monthly, quarterly), while others may be annual or one-time only.
