Hi, my name is Marty and I'm pretty new to parenting. My daughter is 3 years old and her arrival definitely changed my life! It has been so much fun, but in the beginning there sure was a lot to learn.
StatCan has lots of free data available which can help new parents like me. For example, you can find data about child care in Canada, employment patterns in families with children, and balancing family and work. They even have data about the diverse cultural experiences of girls in Canada, and what it's like to be an official languages minority.
On a lighter note, there's information about the physical activity of kids - like my little daughter, who loves gymnastics! Check it out!
