Canadian Survey on Interprovincial Trade (CSIT)

The survey will collect data on the trade of goods and services across provincial and territorial borders, as well as on labour mobility in Canada. These data will provide information on the obstacles faced by businesses engaged in interprovincial trade as well as the reasons why other businesses choose not to conduct interprovincial trade.

The information you provide may also be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes.

  • hiring or considering hiring individuals in regulated occupations from another province or territory
  • challenges associated with hiring registered apprentices or individuals in other regulated occupations from another province or territory
