Today, Statistics Canada is releasing five historical data tables, two infographics and a booklet that provide information on healthcare workers' knowledge and use of English at work in Quebec and French in Canada outside Quebec from 2001 to 2016. These data are based on the Census of Population of 2001, 2006 and 2016; the 2011 National Household Survey; and, in some cases, the Education and Labour Market Longitudinal Platform.

Products

Two infographics entitled "English and French among Healthcare Workers in Quebec, 2001 to 2016" (Catalogue number11-627-M) and "French among Healthcare Workers in Canada outside Quebec, 2001 to 2016" (Catalogue number11-627-M) are now available as part of Statistics Canada – Infographics.

The booklet entitled "Knowledge and Use of the Official Minority Language at Work by Healthcare Workers, 2001 to 2016" (Catalogue number89-657-X) is now available as part of the Ethnicity, Language and Immigration Thematic Series.
