Ontario First Nations Point-of-Sale Exemption Survey, 2022

Data from the 2022 Ontario First Nations Point-of-Sale Exemption Survey are now available upon request.

This survey collects information on First Nations point-of-sale exemptions provided to Indian status card holders at the time they purchased selected goods and services off reserve. The exemptions correspond to the 8% provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario.
