Note to readers
The Electric Power Selling Price Index is a monthly series that measures the price variations in sales of electricity by distributors to commercial and industrial users. Data are available for Canada, by region and by province.
With each release, data for the previous 12 months may have been revised. The index is not seasonally adjusted.
On March 8, 2024, the data for April 2022 to November 2022 were revised upward, affecting:
- data for Canada: electric power, national total (vector v107792869);
- data for Canada: electric power over 5,000 kilowatts (vector v107792870);
- data for British Columbia: electric power over 5,000 kilowatts (vector v107792906).
