It’s been quite a year and we have the data to prove it.
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to touch every aspect of our lives, from our jobs, to schooling and leisure activities—virtually all the data we track tell a story of seismic shifts or subtle changes. Perhaps not surprisingly, Canadians have also become more stressed and their spirits have flagged over the last 18 months. As we continue to move forward in these uncharted times, the importance of providing reliable statistics to Canadians becomes more evident.
The story of 2021 is drawing to a close and the StatsCAN Plus team will be signing off from December 24, 2021, to January 3, 2022, to catch our breath from this year and plan ahead for 2022.
